My car wouldn't start at the mall and I felt like such an idiot
Had one of those moments yesterday that makes you want to just disappear. Finished shopping at MOE, came back to the parking lot with a boot full of groceries and the car just would not start. Click click click and nothing else. Had to call for help and wait around like one of those people you always see and feel sorry for. The guy who came to help tested the battery and said it was fine but the terminals were loose and corroded which I didn't even know was a thing that could stop you from starting. He tightened everything up and cleaned it a bit and it fired right up. I felt so stupid for never checking something so simple. Anyway I've been reading up since then trying to learn what else I've been neglecting and found some essential advice for vehicle battery health on emiratesinside that actually explains what to look for and how often you should check things. Definitely won't be caught off guard like that again hopefully. Anyone else have a similar embarrassing story to make me feel better about my mall parking lot shame?
